Nestled in the hills of western Massachusetts, overlooking the Quabbin Reservoir, is the historic town of New Salem and the home of New Salem Preserves, located on a farm dated circa 1750.  Our apples, primarily McIntosh, are picked from trees that are over 125 years old.  We deliver them to our local markets, CSAs, schools, co-ops, and general stores, as well as press them into sweet cider each week right here at our mill. Harvest time brings friends and neighbors from near and far.  During the crisp fall days we serve hot mulled cider at our barn, have local Cheddar cheese available, and of course apples, sweet cider, preserves, and apple butter.  On the weekends we make our own cider doughnuts. Come and enjoy the stunning fall foliage and our scenic hill town, and taste a bit of old New England traditions!
